人常常很矛盾。有的時候我們很屬靈，或者是說，在某些方面很能堅持做討神喜悅的事；有時候我們我們又很不屬靈，完全不想聽神的話，只想隨自己的意思做事。我們每個人心裡都有一些地方對神是柔軟的。在這些方面，我們比較聽得進神的話、比較願意順服聖靈的帶領。相反的，有一些地方相當剛硬，不允許神去觸碰。我鼓勵大家一面聽今天的道，一面求聖靈光照自己有哪些地方向神是剛硬的，求聖靈幫助我們，願意在這些方面向祂敞開。
