Chris was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. Youngest of three children, Chris grew up in a Christian family and was (quite literally) dragged to church every single Sunday. In 2006 he graduated from the University of Washington with his bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering, then proceeded to work in a number of random jobs while he tried to figure out what to do with his life. After much soul searching he felt called to attend seminary at Regent College in Vancouver, BC. This year Chris just got married on Nov.
